We are back from the fair. It was a good one, but hot and humid. Cold front just went through. We got rain and wind, but now at 4:30 PM we have blue sky.

We are back from the Fair.  It was hot and humid, but a good fair.  Cold front just went through, so now at 4:30 PM we have blue sky.  

WOW we got rain.  We had an inch this morning, but at 3:00 PM it was dark, rumbling and the wind came up and it down poured.  I see the greenhouse is flooded but the baby kittens are at a new home, so don’t have to worry about them.  Always makes a mess but I will wait till the water goes down.  As you can see from the pictures, we were unloading plants at 1:30 from the fair.  I had 3 young men that were good help.  The storm came through about 3:15. What a change from that sunshine sky to the dark, windy rainy sky.  That was the cold front moving through.  With all the hot, humid weather all that moisture was collected in the air.  Weatherman said believe it or not Wednesday will have a low of 50F and high of 72F. What a change from the 90F. this last week.  Now stay safe and enjoy the cooler weather.
I was asked if I had good fair.  Yes, we did.  I saw and visited with lots of people and friends.  I brought back less flowers in doing this.  I would not have sold them in Dougherty during this week, so that is good. But as all good things go, it was fun to be there but now it is good feeling to be back home.  This week I will get ready for the Herb Fest in Greene this Sunday July 26th from 10-3.  I will not have to water tomorrow, so that will give me time to work on the plants and the wagons.  I want to do more planting for me. I need to start emptying the wagons.  My gardening work just keeps on going.   Stay dry, tomorrow will be a better day.
