We are back from Powell, Wyoming. You didn't know we were gone. We went to see Jennifer. It was a good trip.

     Hi, I know it has been a week since I posted.  Larry and I just got back from Powell, Wyoming visiting our daughter Jen and family. We had a great time, spending time with them and seeing some sights.  It is almost 1000 miles; we take 2 days to travel there and 2 days back.  Jen and Abby had Monday off, so we had 3 good days with them. 
We came back to a rainy day.  Looks like we had 2 inches while we were gone.  This is good as it was dry.  It is sweatshirt weather with a high of 56F(14C) which is a low of 53F(11C).  Cool, damp, overcast.  Stay warm, stay safe.
 
Australia friends and family are having awesome spring days with a high of 84F(29C) for their Thursday Oct. 16th. Sunny conditions with wind gusts only at 5 MPH.  Evelyn said that spring has given them some very windy weather. But today and the next few days will be nice, warm, and without wind. Stay cool, Stay safe,
 
Powell is located between 2 mountain ranges, so it is plateau area.  There is farming but they must use irrigation. It does remind me a lot of the area around Sale, Australia where Larry’s sister lives and we went to visit last year.   It is amazing what water does to grow plants.   We take it all for granted here with the rich soil, and abundance of water. 
We traveled over the Big Horn mountains.  It is a lovely drive up and down.  We did see snow on the side of the road, but the roads were clear.  On some trips, we had it snowing when we went over the mountains. 
I will be posting more later but just wanted to let you know we are ok. AND back to work.  I have a lot of work to get ready for the winter.  Mostly cleaning up plants, composting them, and moving a small amount into the greenhouse.  The greenhouse will need to be straightened up and move some things from the north end.  Work in the greenhouse and outside is never ending.  But glad we had a good trip.  But as all of you know it feels good to be home.
