We got 1 1/2 inches of rain last night, no hail. I was up watching it because we didn't put the racks away. I wanted the rain to take care of them if at all possible. If it had hail, then I could just watch it and do nothing else. BUT didn't so that was good. I don't have to water racks, don't think many gardeners will come but still have planting to do. What I call unplanting to do. And get ready for the next event.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday Pam is hosting a 3 day flea market. She usually has a flea market every Friday, but this weekend she is having a 3 day. She has flea marketers coming so that will be good. If you enjoy rummage sales, if you enjoy auctions, you will enjoy Flea Markets. Lots of interesting stuff and each vendor has different things. So what I am doing is have 4 racks on sale for $1.00 a pot or pack. Great time to get plants to finish up the gardening. The plants still look good and there is still time to plant as summer just started. Perennials starting at $2.00, trees and shrubs are on sale plus have those air plants, pixie plants for terrariums and miniature gardens. Have a nice display of items to use in the miniature gardens. Everyone that stops this weekend will receive a free gift. So if you are at all interested, plan on coming to Dougherty for the First EVER 3 day Flea Market. You will not be disappointed.
I was having a garden club here last night and one of the members asked me this question. I could not answer her, I didn't find any answer on the web, so I am asking all of you this.
Is the asparagus in the road ditches, the same as the asparagus we can buy to plant from a grower? Write what you think about this?
