It has been awhile since I have posted....it has been hot and humid, then it turned really nice out with low humidity and temperature, now back to hot and humid. We have been working hard on getting things ready for the fair. There is so much to get ready for because of all we take. The pots and hanging baskets to decorate the fairgrounds. Hope to be down in number only 100-125 this year instead of the 200. Then taking all the stuff to sell. It will be a nice display for you to look at. Fair is next week that is the Franklin Co fair July 18 thru July 22nd.
Now the last Sunday of July 29th will be the 2018 Greene Herb Fest. Starting from 9-4 at the park in Greene Iowa. There will be plants there plus food pie by the slice homemade ice cream, snow cones/funnel cakes, walking tacos and cold beverages. Also Handcrafted soaps, lotions herbals . Mosaics garden Art, Garden and painted items, Tin flowers, Stained glass windows, fused glass and jewelry Garden art, paintings, jazz pots and sculptures, windchimes, planters, wood signs, repruposed Furniture/barn wood planters, handmade aprons, honey and winery. At 11:00 there is a seminar by Garden Treasurers: Living picture frames
