This is what I am planting today. Ornamental Millet Jester

Good morning in Dougherty it is warm out and a high today of 47F(8C).   But it is calm before the storm.  Tonight, winds up to 60 MPH, and then this weekend there is a major winter storm with high snow amounts and wind.  Blizzard like Saturday into Sunday.  Stay safe.
 
Australia family and friends for their March 13th Friday will 67F(19C) and will have wind. It is cooler than normal for them.  ENJOY I am thinking and stay safe.
 
I am planting this millet today.  As you can see it is very green, and that is what it will look like growing in the container here at the greenhouse.  When you take it home and plant it, then it will turn purple, pink and burgundy as the days go.  It will be a lovely plant, and then in the fall it will have a bloom like a cat tail and be a dark color.  I have read it grows in the sun and the shade.   Think about this plant in your garden.
