Here is what a neighbor brought to me yesterday. A fresh head of cabbage and broccoli, what is special I grew the plants, he grew them till they were produce. It is very rewarding to see what my work has done. Now today I will use them for our dinner. I will make coleslaw, and a stir fry with the broccoli and cabbage too. So I was thinking what do you make with your fresh produce especially broccoli and cabbage? Share if you have time, would love to see new ideas to use them with.
Marianne this is for you. Arnold, Larry's Dad always comes and eats the noon meal with us on Wed. I would feed Marianne when she is here to work, she would tease Arnold about having broccoli which he tells her it isn't his favorite vegetable. So I am sure today we will talk about that today, Marianne.
Here is the recipe I just found, you go look on allrecipes.com to see how many different ways to use cabbage in coleslaw. Taken from http://allrecipes.com/recipe/24827/jack-wilsons-slaw-dressing
