Hope you enjoy all the pictures of the wave petunias we are going to have here. What they say a picture is worth 1000 words. Have you grown these in your garden? Give it some thought for baskets, containers, or in a garden bed. Wave petunias remember there are several types of them now. The regular wave petunias and they will grow and spread from 3-4 feet. The second generation of wave petunias Easy Wave which are great for pots and baskets as they will grow and spread 2-3 feet. We have them in Easy Wave Blue, Easy Wave Burgundy Velour, Easy Wave Neon Rose, Easy Wave Plum Vein, and Easy Wave Red Velour. The third type of wave petunias we have are the tidal wave and these grow taller if planted close together like every 2 feet if planted further apart they will cover the ground. They will form a hedge of blooms and look great in the back of a flower bed. I use them a lot in the beds for Mason City public gardens. 4 colors Tidal Wave Cherry, Tidal Wave Hot Pink, Tidal Wave Red Velour, and Tidal Wave Silver. SO now I must get back to planting as it is getting time to get the plants growing….love this time of year with all the new things coming in and getting ready for you the gardener.
