I Thessalonians 5:15 See that none of you repays another with evil for evil, but always aim to show kindness and seek to do good to one another and to everybody.
Everybody can help Somebody
Wishing for something does not produce the results we desire. Whatever God leads you to do, aggressively purse what needs to be done to achieve those results.
I once heard a story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody. There was an important job to be done, and Everybody was sure Somebody would do it. Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did. Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody’s job. Everybody wouldn’t do it. In the end, Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.
The moral of the story is simple: if you see that something needs to be done and you have the ability to do it, be thankful for the opportunity God has given you and go be the change that everyone else is waiting for.
Lord, I am so thankful for the strengths and gifts You have given me. Show me what You want me to do and help me to after it with all my heart. With Your help, I know that I can make a difference. In your name we pray. AMEN
