What wonderful spring weather we are having. Makes working outside awesome. Are you enjoying it? I am. Now it is getting everyone in the mood to plant, and do we have the plants for you. I start ordering annuals in Oct, finish up in Dec, and start planting in Feb. I am excited about a couple of new wave petunias, and this is what the developers said about these colors of wave petunias. More drama? No problem! Meet new Wave Velour Petunias One of the highlights of being a Wave® Petunia breeding team member is creating new and exciting petunia colors for home gardeners. But, boy! is it hard work to get it just right. We think we found a winner this time with our new Wave® Velour collection of spreading petunias. Not only do these lovelies trail and spill from their containers, or cover the ground with their luxurious color, they have a never-before-seen velvety TEXTURE that we’re sure Wave gardeners will go nuts for! These are the Wave Petunias to take your garden to the next level. Dahling, we’re talking high drama! Velours are perfect for intimate centerpieces on your patio, or an opulent entryway hanging basket. All three are deep and rich with luscious color – it’s glamour to the max with these designer petunias. We have them in Red Velour, and Burgundy velour. The burgundy will come out purple but as the bloom grows it will turn the burgundy color. Velour makes it look like velvet. Hope the red is as deep as the pictures show.
Another fun plant we are growing is really 2 to 3 different plants in the plug that will be a great combination while it is growing. They are called fuseable petunia blueberry lime jam,fuseable petunia strawberry wine,fuseable pleasantly Blue, fuseables healing waters, fuseables under the sun coleus. Supplied as Fuseables Precision Multi-Pellets These easy-to-produce, two to three-variety mixes are ideal for colour bowls, hanging baskets and large patio containers. We recommend 1 to 3 plants per 10-in./25-cm container and 3 to 5 plants per 12-in./30-cm container. When you are here have a look for these. Remember we are open every day now till the end of June.
