This was a flat of moss roses, but the deer found them one night.

Here is what they looked liked before the deer.

              I have had problem with deer eating right off our flower racks.  It is at their right height.  I find they love gazania and moss roses.  That is the picture of what they ate one night, the other picture is what the moss roses looked like in the flat.  I moved to the middle of the rack and that helped. 
       Deer feast on small plants, flowers, shrubs and saplings. The most common deer seen in the U.S. is the white-tail deer (odocoileus virginianus), according to Environmental Education for Kids. Deer repellents are the best way to deter deer from entering property to eat flowers and plants. Deer damage results from their large appetites and from trampling surrounding vegetation and landscaping during their banquet.
