So home from the Wed of Franklin Co Fair...had many stop at our booth area. But to tell you the truth worked all day with Pam to get the fairy garden set up, air plants set up, the junqet planters priced, and the canning jar display. Pam set up 2 tables of things from her flea market... Still not done will finish up tomorrow....more fairy garden stuff to set up. Prices on the perennials, signs about the lilies, some teaching lessons and then see what else we will do at our booth area. Had a little rain, little humid but tonight when we left it was very nice out. For a few days till Sunday it will be lower humidity, lower temperature almost perfect for going to a county fair...I noticed I have many hits yesterday and today, so I thought I better write to you...here are some more lilies that I have at the fair.
Brunello Lily 24-30" tall. A fabulous dark orange lily, 'Brunello' is a stunning addition to the perennial border. 'Brunello' is a durable, unfussy perennial bulb that grows readily in a variety of soil types that have been amended with compost and are well drained. It likes full to part sun and bloom in early to mid-summer. Extremely cold hardy, it is adapted to growing in zones 3-9 and is a great choice for northern gardeners.
Cancun Lily Getting its name from bright, tropical blooms, Cancun steals the show in the summer garden. The bright orange and yellow blooms contrast wonderfully with deep green foliage, and this amazing variety attracts a variety of pollinators to the garden. Long-blooming, Cancun delights in the mid summer garden and is extremely easy to grow, preferring full sun and well-draining soil. This variety is deer and virus resistant, making it a must have for any perennial garden.
Red Twin Lily A beautiful and vibrant double bloom, this hardy and versatile Asiatic Hybrid Lily features varying shades of reds and oranges radiating out from its darker center. A perfect choice for garden beds or container planting, Red Twin Lily also is a sturdy cut flower, perfect for arranging.
